Troubleshooting
Photos or the camera won't open
Annotyze needs access to your photo library. Open Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos → Annotyze and choose Full Access, or Limited Access with the photos you want to annotate selected. For Take Photo, also turn on Settings → Privacy & Security → Camera → Annotyze.
The app won't install or open
Annotyze requires iOS 18.4 or later. Check Settings → General → About → iOS Version and update if needed.
A new shape disappeared
Annotes are kept once they have data. Add a tag, metadata or a note before closing — empty shapes are discarded on purpose.
My move didn't stick
After moving or resizing, tap the ✓ in the dock to keep it. Closing with ✕ or switching Annotes puts the shape back.
AutoDetect isn't available
The AD tool is dimmed when no subjects were found in the photo. Press and hold the photo to see what it can detect.
Where is my data?
Everything is stored on your device. Use Profile → Export Data to save a backup file; see the Privacy Policy for details.
